Nova Electric Racing – Building a Fully Electric Superbike

Wat zij zelf zeggen over hun sessie: During our session at the Adventure Theater, Nova Electric Racing will present the technical and human aspects of building a fully electric superbike. We will explain the core performance elements of the motorcycle such as horsepower, torque, acceleration, battery systems and aerodynamics, and how electric power fundamentally changes the internal layout of the bike. Without a combustion engine, weight distribution and packaging become major engineering challenges due to limited space and the need to keep the center of gravity as low as possible. Beyond the technical side, we will speak about the team behind the project. We are a group of volunteer students from different academic backgrounds who develop the motorcycle alongside our studies. The project is driven by initiative, responsibility and the ambition to learn beyond the classroom. Sustainability is a key focus. As an electric racing team, we aim to meet the performance standards required in modern mobility. We are also working on innovation in composites by integrating natural fibers into our bodywork, seeking a balance between performance and more sustainable material solutions.
